Two easy ways to book:

Flash or Custom.

FLASH ✤

Flash tattoos are pre-designed pieces you can choose straight from my collection.

You can choose from a wide range of designs on my Instagram.

Flash can be repeated 2–3 times. If you prefer a one-off piece, please choose the custom option.

Ornamental tattoo flash sheet with a butterfly, flowers and some floral tiles. Unique and beautiful ornamental tattoo ideas by Wanissa, an Asian female tattoo artist based in Melbourne, Australia.

CUSTOM ✤

Custom tattoos are customisations of my flash or new designs based on your idea, created in my style.

Custom work is one-off and non-repeatable. While I may create similar variations in the future, the details of your piece will remain uniquely yours.

Frequently Asked Questions 〰️

How do I book an appointment?

Please fill out the booking form. You can select from:

1. Flash – Pick any pre-drawn design(s) from my Instagram. Flash pieces may be repeated 2–3 times. If you’d like a one-off, non-repeatable design, choose the CUSTOM option and I’ll create something unique just for you.

2. Custom design – Customisations based on my flash or your idea. Please describe your idea as clearly as possible and attach reference images. Please note that I will create the custom artwork according to your idea, though the design itself will be executed in my own style.

Can I view my design before hand?

Just a heads-up: I don’t send out custom designs ahead of time. You’ll get to see your design on the day of your appointment, and we will have time to discuss the design at the start of the session.

Minor modifications are welcome and I’m happy to make small adjustments. If you’re after a big change or a whole new concept though, that would require a new deposit.

How much does a tattoo cost?

The minimum charge is $200.

Pricing will vary depending on a few things—like the size of the piece, whether it’s a custom or flash design, where it’s going on the body, and how detailed it is.

Please submit an enquiry through my booking form and ask for an estimate for your design.

Discounts apply for multiple tattoos done in one session!

Deposit & Cancellations

To secure your spot, a deposit of $100–$200 (depending on your tattoo) is required. This goes toward your final cost and helps lock in your appointment.

While deposits are non-refundable, you’re welcome to reschedule—just give at least 48 hours’ notice so your deposit can be carried over.

Once we’ve locked in a date and time, I’ll send you a payment link to finalise the booking.

If you need to make any major changes to your idea, please let me know at least 3 days before your appointment. Late major changes or short-notice reschedules may require a new deposit.

How do I prepare for my appointment?

  • Please make sure you bring an ID with proof of age (e.g. a driver’s license or a passport). You must be OVER 18 years of age to get tattooed.

  • Get a good night’s sleep. Avoid alcohol or drugs. Your body will respond best when well-rested.

  • Have a meal before and after to avoid dizziness and low blood sugar. I recommend bringing snacks and water!

  • Avoid anti-inflammatory painkillers (like Nurofen, Advil or aspirin) for 48 hours before your appointment, as they can thin your blood and affect healing. Panadol is fine.

  • Wear loose, comfy clothes that give easy access to the tattoo area. Since ink can stain, dark clothing is best.

  • Bring headphones if you’d like to listen to music.

  • Stay well hydrated in the week leading up to your appointment—it helps with healing.

  • Avoid sunbathing —if you’re sunburnt, I won’t be able to tattoo you.

  • Please allow plenty of time for your session and let me know if you have any time constraints.

Where is the studio?

I'm currently based at Milk Bar Studio, 15 Mckillop St, Melbourne/ Naarm. We are an appointment-only studio. Please book appointments in with me directly using the booking form.

Can I use numbing cream?

If you’d like to use numbing cream, please let me know ahead of time. Some numbing creams make the skin harder to tattoo, but I can recommend options that work well and guide you on how to apply them before your appointment.

Do you offer touch-up sessions?

Yes, I do! If you notice your tattoo has faded or dropped out after one month, please get in touch with me for a free touch-up. Please note that touch-ups should be done between 1 and 3 months after your original session.

Can I bring a friend?

Yes, you're welcome to bring a friend! Please let me know beforehand. There’s a comfy couch where they can hang out, and they’re welcome to bring music, headphones, or a book to pass the time.

Testimonials

About me

I began my tattooing journey in 2023 and have been especially drawn to florals and ornamental work, inspired by patterns and tiles from cultures around the world.

My love for tiles and ornaments goes beyond their beauty. As a diasporic artist, I’m drawn to how tattooing can express culture and create a sense of connection, identity and belonging.

Everyone is welcome. I take pride in offering a safe, inclusive and clean environment, and in making each tattoo experience a positive and memorable one.

Aside from tattooing, I enjoy engraving and painting.
