FAQs

How do I book an appointment with you?

Please fill out the booking form. You can select from 2 options:

1. Flash – Pick any pre-drawn design(s) from my Instagram. Flash designs will be available for limited repeats, typically around 3 times maximum. I am always open to altering and editing current flash designs to create a one-off, unique piece for you.

2. Custom design – includes customisations based on my flash designs, or your idea. Please describe your idea as clearly as possible and attach any reference images if necessary. Please note that I will create the custom artwork according to your idea, though design itself will be executed in my own style.

Can I see custom designs before my appointment?

Please note that I do not share custom designs in advance. You’ll be able to view your design on the day of your appointment, and we will have time to discuss the design. Minor modifications are welcome and any small changes can be made if necessary. However, substantial alterations to the design or the request for an entirely new concept will require a new deposit(s).

Where is the studio?

I'm tattooing from Milk Bar Studio, an appointment-only studio based in the heart of Melbourne/ Narrm CBD.

How much does a tattoo cost?

My minimum charge is $150.

Pricing depends on the following: size of the piece, custom or flash piece, placement on the body and level of detail.

Please submit an enquiry through my booking form so I can provide an estimate for your design.

Discounts will be applied if you get multiple designs done in one session.

Deposit & Cancellation Policy

To secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit of $100 is required per appointment.

Once we settle on a date and time, you will be sent a payment link to complete the booking process. Although the deposit is non-refundable, you can reschedule your appointment if you need. The deposit will be deducted from the total cost of the tattoo.

In the event that you need to reschedule, please let me know at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment or your deposit will automatically be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to rebook.

Any major changes or complete change of ideas must be informed at least 3 days prior to your appointment day, otherwise your deposit will be automatically forfeited and a new deposit will be required to rebook.

Can I bring a friend to my appointment?

If you would like to bring a friend to your appointment, please let me know in advance.

Can I use numbing cream?

If you think you might need a numbing cream for your session, please let me know in advance as certain types of numbing creams can actually make the skin much more difficult to tattoo. I can give you a list of recommended numbing creams and advice you on how they can be applied prior to your session.

Do you offer touch-up sessions?

If you notice any fading of your new tattoo at least one month post tattoo, I offer up to two free touch-up sessions. To qualify for the offer, you must book your touch-up within three months of your initial tattoo appointment. Should you require a touch-up, please contact me and I will book you in for a session.

How can I prepare for my tattoo appointment?

Please make sure you bring an ID that shows proof of your age (e.g. a driver’s license or a passport). You must be OVER 18 years of age to get tattooed.

Try and get a good night’s sleep before your appointment. Do not drink or take any drugs prior to your appointment. Your body will react best if you are well rested and healthy before getting tattooed.

Try to eat a good size meal prior to and after your appointment if possible. Low food intake can cause dizziness and low blood sugar levels, which can cause discomfort during the session.

Please avoid the consumption of any alcohol/drugs or any anti-inflammatory pain killers (e.g. Nurofen, Advil, aspirin, Ponstan, Naprogesic, etc) at least 48 hours prior to your tattoo session as there is a risk that these medicines may thing the blood and consequently affect healing of your tattoo. Panadol is okay.

If possible, try to wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing to your appointment. Something that will make it easy to access the area being tattooed and also won’t be too tight over the area afterwards.

Feel free to bring your own headphones to listen to music, read, or watch during your session.

We have water and lollies available at the studio but please don’t hesitate to bring your own drinks and perhaps a light snack. During the tattoo process, your blood sugar levels are likely to drop, so it is always good to have something on hand to boost them up again.

It is recommended to drink enough water every day during a week prior to your tattoo appointment. Being well hydrated is always a good idea and it will promote your new tattoo healing afterwards.

Please allow sufficient time for your tattoo session.
