FAQs

Where can I see your flash designs?

Please check my Instagram story highlights to view which flash designs are available to be tattooed.  Any designs marked in red are unavailable to be tattooed, though I’m happy to draw a similar design for you.

Where is the studio located?

I am based at Mid City Tattoo, 190 Bourke St Melbourne 3000.

How do I book an appointment with you?

Please fill out the booking form. You can select from 2 options:

1. Flash – Pick any pre-drawn design(s) from my flash. All flash is repeatable, meaning they may be tattooed more than once and can be claimed by multiple people.

2. Custom design – includes customisations based on my flash designs, or your idea. Please describe your idea as clearly as possible and attach any reference images if necessary. Please note that I will create the custom artwork according to your idea, though design itself will be executed in my own style. You’ll be able to view your custom design on the day of your tattoo appointment.

How much does a tattoo cost?

Tattoos are currently charged at apprentice rate starting from $100 to $150 for a palm / hand sized tattoo. Prices will vary according to each design. Please submit an enquiry through my booking form so I can provide an estimate for your design. ☺️

How can I prepare for my tattoo appointment?

Please make sure you bring an ID that shows proof of your age (e.g. a driver’s license or a passport). You must be OVER 18 years of age to get tattooed.

Try and get a good night’s sleep before your appointment. Do not drink or take any drugs prior to your appointment. Your body will react best if you are well rested and healthy before getting tattooed.

Try to eat a good size meal prior to and after your appointment if possible. Low food intake can cause dizziness and low blood sugar levels, which can cause discomfort during the session.

Please avoid the consumption of any alcohol/drugs or any anti-inflammatory pain killers (e.g. Nurofen, Advil, aspirin, Ponstan, Naprogesic, etc) at least 48 hours prior to your tattoo session as there is a risk that these medicines may thing the blood and consequently affect healing of your tattoo. Panadol is okay.

If possible, try to wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing to your appointment. Something that will make it easy to access the area being tattooed and also won’t be too tight over the area afterwards.

Feel free to bring your own headphones to listen to music, read, or watch during your session.

We have water and lollies available at the studio but please don’t hesitate to bring your own drinks and perhaps a light snack. During the tattoo process, your blood sugar levels are likely to drop, so it is always good to have something on hand to boost them up again.

It is recommended to drink enough water every day during a week prior to your tattoo appointment. Being well hydrated is always a good idea and it will promote your new tattoo healing afterwards.

Can I bring a friend to my appointment?

As there is limited space in our studio, we might not always have enough space for a plus one. If you’d like to bring a friend, please contact me prior to your appointment day so I can check our capacity on the day.

Can I use numbing cream?

If you think you might need a numbing cream for your session, please let me know in advance as certain types of numbing creams can actually make the skin much more difficult to tattoo. I can give you a list of recommended numbing creams and advice you on how they can be applied prior to your session.

Do you offer touch-up sessions?

I offer free touch-ups on tattoos if needed. Please not that touch-ups must be booked within 3 months of your original tattoo date. If you need a touch up, please contact me and I can arrange a touch-up date for you.

What forms of payment do you take?

I accept cash payments only. There are ATMs near the studio if you would like to get cash out.
